​ZoodPay deploys 1500 lockers in Uzbekistan

We are excited to announce the launch of the largest open network of pick-up lockers in Uzbekistan, in collaboration with Fargo.

1,500 lockers will be distributed across the country, providing customers with more convenient delivery options and enhancing last-mile delivery capabilities. Customers can pick up their packages from the lockers at any time and within walking distance of their homes, decreasing both customers', and merchants' last-mile delivery costs (50% cheaper than home delivery), Pay on installment at the pickup point.

Customers will receive an SMS with a code that they enter on a screen in the locker to open their compartment. Thanks to a user-friendly interface, the average time to receive an order in a locker is 20 seconds. The lockers will also give the possibility for customers to pay with a card and in ZoodPay installments by scanning a QR code on the screen.

We will install 50 lockers in Tashkent by the end of July, and another 500 lockers across Uzbekistan in September, bringing the total number of lockers to 1500 by the end of 2022.

Access to these lockers network is available for all online merchants.
